MEMPHIS, Tenn. —  A job fair is scheduled for Monday to help community members who are trying to get back into the workforce.

The Re-entry Job Fair is open and free to the public.

It’s specifically aimed at helping those who have been out of work including ex-offenders.

Participants are urged to dress professionally, bring multiple copies of their resumes and be prepared for on-the-spot interviews.

According to the news release, the companies are looking to hire for full and part-time positions for a variety of jobs.

The Re-entry Job Fair will be held at the Benjamin Hooks Library, 3030 Poplar Avenue from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
