(London, Ontario) There is more evidence that grapefruit and medicine don’t mix and could even be deadly.

In 2008, researchers came up with a list of 17 drugs that patients shouldn’t take with grapefruit juice.

Now, that list has grown to 44 medications.

Researchers say combining the two causes the drug to be processed at a faster pace, and in some cases, it’s almost like getting a double dose.
