MEMPHIS, Tenn. — People in an Orange Mound community told WREG they’re cleaning up after Monday night’s storm left behind a lot of damage.
Neighbors in the 4100 block of Larkspur said they have a lot of cleaning up to do.
They said they were caught off guard to see the tree in the middle of their street.
The tree fell on the house and an SUV.
Parts of it even fell on a car trapping a driver.
Neighbors told WREG they jumped in and pulled the driver out of the car.
In the midst of all this, people said it`s times like this that brings them closer together.
They`re thankful because no one was seriously hurt and they have each other.
