CORINTH, Miss. — WREG has confirmed there is now a $5,000 reward being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person who shot a Corinth Police Officer early Wednesday morning.

The reward is being offered by the U.S. Marshals Office.

Officer Kevin Parker, Jr. was responding to a call when he was shot around 4:40 a.m.

The Officer’s vest stopped the bullet from killing him.
