MEMPHIS, Tenn. — This year’s HBCU College Fair, presented by the River City Chapter of the Links Incorporated was held this weekend at First Baptist Church Broad on Broad Avenue.

WREG’s April Thompson attended the college fair along with about 300 students.

Representatives from several colleges, including LeMoyne-Owen, Rust, Spelman, Morehouse, Xavier, and Fisk University were on hand to talk to parents and students.

Representatives gave students information about enrollment requirements, scholarships and different courses.

There was also three workshop sessions on ACT preparation,and volunteers also registered people to vote.
