OXFORD, Miss. — Many people have expressed their condolences to the eleven children who lost their parents when three couples were killed in a plane crash Sunday in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Now, one of those children is thanking those people and talking about those who were killed.
Sarah Perry lost her parents, Kim and Dr. Michael Perry, in the crash.
The Perry’s were flying back from a dental conference with Dr. Austin Poole and his wife, Angie Poole, and Dr. John Farese and his wife, Dr. Lea Farese.
In addition to thanking people for their support, Sarah says she will always be there for her brother and sister, “I will stay strong for my brother and sister! I will help them with anything They need. I will be my sister’s Santa Claus and I will be there for my sister when she gets older! I will help my brother with his homework and with any problems he ever has!”
She goes on to her grandmother will raise her.
She admits this has been the hardest thing she’s ever gone through, “The main thing I ask is for y’all to share any memories with me if you have any of my parents! don’t hesitate to ask me questions because we can get through this together! I promise! so imma go out there and be my best and I will get through this:)”
Tuesday, Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze invited all the children to take part in their football practice as a temporary distraction.
