MEMPHIS, Tenn — School administrators will be waking up before dawn to track the radar and determine whether school will open in the morning. Another winter storm is expected to move in during the early morning hours and has the potential to close school yet again
Administrators will wake up early and check the latest position of the storm to determine whether school will open.
Shelby County Schools says they are watching the radar, Germantown and Collierville are planning an early morning meet. Bartlett, Millington, Arlington, and Lakeland will also make the call in the morning.
Some school districts had crews out Thursday night laying salt to help prevent ice build up.
