(Memphis) A big honor for a local middle school, specifically all of the teacher’s at the school dedicated to helping the student’s learn.
White Station Middle School is being recognized for using technology to teach lessons.
Today the school was presented with the Edmentum Rock Star award.
White Station Middle School uses the online learning program, Study Island, to create quizzes and practice activities helping students master subjects by using technology.
Overall, student scores on the state achievement test have increased since the program was put in place 2007.
