MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Major changes are in store for hundreds of Shelby County Schools students.

Tuesday night, SCS administrators and the board discussed changing boundaries in areas that currently overlap and closing schools.

More than 900 students could be impacted and would shift to other schools.

Superintendent Dorsey Hopson is also recommending Lincoln Elementary and Southside Middle School be closed.

No final decisions will be made until community meetings are held.
