SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. — The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office has canceled an alert for a previously missing 53-year-old man.
According to deputies, Dennis Townsend was last seen in the 4400 block of North Pecan Circle near Coleman on Thursday. Several hours later, he was found safe.
Deputies said they were concerned because Townsend reportedly has mental and medical conditions that require daily medication.
