MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The City of Memphis has announced sections of Union Avenue will be closed as crews work on sewer repairs.
The closure is set to begin on Wednesday, July 8 starting at 9:30 a.m. until July 11.
WREG was told Union Avenue between Second Street and Front Street will be totally closed to through traffic.
Drivers who normally use that section should plan an alternate route along Second Street, Peabody Place, Front Street and Monroe Avenue.
