Seen On-Air: Summer Food Service Program

Courtesy of City of Memphis

Summer can be an exciting time, but for lower income students it can also be a time of hunger.

That’s why the City of Memphis created FUN  (Fitness, Unity and Nutrition) as part of the USDA Summer Food Service Program.

Twenty-three sites will not only feed students 18 and under, but will also provide entertainment geared toward making healthy lifestyle choices, leadership development, character building, and violence reduction.

The sites will be open Monday through Friday starting at 10:30 a.m.
