MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Authorities released images of two suspects they say are responsible for numerous package thefts across the city of Memphis.

According to police, the men have been caught on camera targeting homes daily since at least November 27. One incident happened Saturday in the 1100 block of Colonial Road and the suspects reportedly got away with numerous packages.

Doorbell video of that incident was shared with neighbors on Nextdoor.

“Nothing out of the normal to have packages delivered this time of year. We actually had one that day, too,” said Derrick McClure.

McClure said he saw the stolen packages on his neighbor’s front porch Saturday. Not long after that they were gone.

“I feel like the worst neighbor in the world,” he said.

Authorities said suspects may be driving a 2005 to 2009 gray Ford Fusion with a sunroof.

Memphis Police said there are several things you can do to protect yourself against porch pirates. If you can, send the package to a neighbor or friend you know will be at home. If that’s not an option, you can ask the delivery company to hold the package for you or leave it in a hidden location at your home.

There also the option to have the item shipped to a nearby store for in-store pickup, and make sure to have a tracking number to know when it will arrive.

If you can help identify the men, call Crime Stoppers at (901) 528-CASH.
