The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for parts of Prentiss, Tippah, Lee and Union counties in Mississippi, in effect until 7:45 p.m. Saturday.
Previous warnings in other nearby counties have expired.
Hazards include 60-mile-per-hour wind gusts and hail, and damage is expected.
