MEMPHIS, Tenn. — On Wednesday, the National Weather Service issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for much of the Mid-South, that quickly turned into a Thunderstorm Warning.
Storms started moving through our viewing area around 4 p.m. and finally moved into the City of Memphis just before 4:30 p.m.
Trees were down, MLGW customers were left in the dark and the wind rattled cars trying to make their way down the interstate.
WREG continued to track the storm until 7 p.m. at which time it began to fall apart.
A second round of Severe Thunderstorms rolled through the Mid-South just before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday night.
Those lasted until 12:15 a.m.
