A North Mississippi woman is going to prison for trying to profit off of another family’s tragedy.

Janet Lee Posey admitted to setting up a Facebook page and asking for donations shortly after the murder of Jessica Chambers.

Jessica’s family had their own fundraiser and said Posey asked for money without their consent or knowledge.

Posey will serve seven years in prison and will have to pay over $1400 in court fees.
