Shots fired at apartment complex that was scene of shooting last week

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police are investigating after shots were fired Monday night at a Whitehaven apartment complex where a 2-year-old was shot last week.

This time, no one was hit, but a car was damaged at the Peppertree Apartments.

The incident happened not far from where that 2-year-old was shot in the face. She was hit while lying on the couch with her mom after shots were fired outside their apartment.

So far, no charges have been filed.
