MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a woman who has been missing for at least two days.

Monday afternoon, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued a statewide Silver Alert for 70-year-old Charlotte Kee.

She was last seen in the area of Feathers Chapel Drive in Somerville and has a medical condition that could impair her ability to return safely without assistance.

“We are going to do anything we can. Of course, our guys are talking to anybody we can find that she has any connection to,” said Fayette County Chief Deputy Ray Garcia. “The initial report did not come in as a missing person’s case; it came in as a welfare check.”

Kee’s nephew said Kee lives in a mobile home on Feathers Chapel Drive. Russell German said Saturday a neighbor noticed her front door was open, her dog was outside alone, and Kee’s stove was turned on.

“Her cell phone is in the trailer,” said German. “She lives in a rural area.”

Kee is 5’4″, weighs 153 lbs, and has red hair and brown eyes.

If you spot her, call 1-800-TBI-FIND or the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office at 901-465-3456.
