MEMPHIS, Tenn. — An earthquake was detected in West Tennessee on Monday morning.
The magnitude 3.3 quake was detected around 6 a.m. near Tiptonville, Tennessee.
The USGS said the quake’s shaking was light and it likely caused no damage.
The Mid-South sits along the New Madrid fault line and periodically experiences quakes.
