(Memphis) Retailers want to track your every move as you shop with a smartphone in hand.
Stores are now using mobile based technology to see how long you stay in a store and how much time you spend in each department.
But now the FTC says it’s going to look into retailers’ use of phone location technology because some consumer advocates say it’s spying.
The companies collecting the data say it’s all anonymous and can’t be tracked to a specific person.
