MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Some schools in Shelby County are ready to take the TNReady test.
The school district said as of Friday, half of the schools have received the paper materials needed to take the test from the Tennessee Department of Education and have started testing.
Forty-nine schools will begin on Monday.
It’s unclear when the schools who have not received their materials will take the test.
Shelby County Schools said they will be working with the state to determine the next steps for those schools.
