MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Ninety-four markers in the street where police found shell casings in front of a South Memphis house Thursday morning.

There are bullet holes all over the windows, the walls of the home, and even the cars in the driveway on Alice Street. A door handle was shot right off one of the vehicle.

Michelle Lambert said she and her husband cleaned up from a Fourth of July Celebration. She had fallen asleep when someone opened fire.

“First I thought it was firecrackers so when I made it right here my husband get down, get down,” Lambert said. “No one was hurt. We were real lucky that no one was hurt.”

Her 21-year-old grandson, his two small children and her nephew were also in the house. They all took cover.

“You see there is blood because my husband dived on the floor and got cut up,” Lambert said.

There is damage all through out the house. Lambert’s nephew was sleeping right below a window, the bullet hole just inches from his head.

;No one was hit.

Lambert has no idea who’s responsible, but says whoever did this came here to kill.

“This is absolutely ridiculous. This stuff right here is getting out of hand. Somebody needs to do something,” Lambert said.

She says they destroyed the house she’s lived in for nearly 30 years.

“I don`t even want to stay here,” Lambert said.
