MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The roof on a building in Downtown Memphis collapsed on Thursday.

According to Memphis Fire, the roof caved in after a sprinkler system went off at the Long building at 107 South Main.

The water from the sprinkler saturated the roof and came tumbling down.

Thankfully the building was vacant and therefore no injuries were reported.

No word yet on why the sprinklers went off in the first place.
