FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — Staples says close to 1.2 million credit and debit cards may have been exposed during a cyber attack earlier this year.
The attack affected transactions at 115 stores between July and September.
The retailer says the security breach may have allowed access to card holder names, card numbers, expiration dates and verification codes.
They are offering free credit monitoring to customers.
