(New York, NY) New York’s top court is hearing a dispute over Starbuck’s tip-sharing policy.
Starbucks defended the practice, saying its baristas and shift supervisors divvy up the tips since they both basically provide the same service to customers.
The suit aims to clear up a New York state labor law that prohibits managers from sharing in tips.
