MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Stax Museum of American Soul Music in Memphis received some love on Friday.
USA Today released a list of the 10Best: Memorable Mother’s Day Trips Across the USA, and Stax was right up there with the best.
To make their list, they recruited Sophia Dembling, author of 100 Places in the USA Every Woman Should Go.
She suggested when making the list they focus on places that would peak the most interest, and “spur conversation and bonding”.
Dembling personally loved the Stax Museum saying after four hours inside, she and her family could have spent the entire day inside watching the videos and dancing.
Also on the list: the Women’s Rights National Historic Park, Hearst Castle, and the mansion tour in Newport, Rhode Island.
