MEMPHIS, Tenn. — We want to send our congratulations to the fourth and fifth graders at Sea Isle Elementary.
Friday, the school held its annual Spelling Bee.
Our own George Brown was the emcee for the event.
Alex Tauberschmidt took first place, Raina Dent was second and Tim’mya Patton came in third.
Congratulations to all those who took part.
Assistant Principal Kristine Sullivan challenged all her students to use correct spelling and full words when texting.
Also, the students chose the Seattle Seahawks to win the Super Bowl. The choice may be influenced by the fact they are the Sea Isle Seahawks.
