OKLAHOMA CITY — A group of students headed for the Oklahoma City Zoo were in for a terrifying morning as the bus they were on caught on fire.
According to KFOR, the students were on the interstate around 9 a.m. when they heard a “pop.”
A passenger on board got off to take a look and that’s when she discovered the back wheel was on fire.
All 23 students on board were rushed off the bus, and are said to be okay.
It took fire crews about 30 minutes to get the blaze under control.
Just confirmed – bus is from Stroud. pic.twitter.com/yyZo9vtZ3m
