(Union County, TN) Students at Union University are getting ready to mark the 5-year anniversary of the tornado that left widespread damage all over the campus.
February 5th, 2008, an EF-4 tornado ripped through the heart of the campus.
Several buildings were damaged and 51 students were injured, but fortunately no one was killed.
Next Tuesday night students will mark the solemn anniversary at a chapel on campus.
The hour-long service will include music, prayers and testimonies from some of the students who were there when the tornado hit the campus.
