Video surveillance shows the man pulling a large firework from his pocket, lighting it and throwing it towards the store counter.

The firework exploded, injuring two of the store’s employees and damaging $2,500 in merchandise.

The suspect jumped into the back window of the waiting red sedan and they fled north to S. Perkins.

Police have described the suspect as a thin man in his late teens to early 20s. In the video surveillance they released, the suspect was wearing a gray hoodie, blue jeans and black loafers.
