SHILOH, Tenn. — A ‘suspicious’ fire at Shiloh National Military Park is under investigation. The fire began late afternoon Thursday in Duncan Field and burned nearly eight acres of the field and adjacent forest. Officials say the fire started along the southern edge of the field, on the auto tour route on Corinth-Pittsburg Landing Road. No monuments, markers, nor the cannon located on the field were damaged. Anyone with information that could help investigators should call 731-689-5275 or email stacey_allen@nps.gov.
