MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — The major retailer Target has recalled its Circo Night Lights due to a potential fire hazard.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the battery in the night lights could overheat, causing the light to melt.
To date, Target has received two reports of this happening, including one where the lights caught fire.
It damaged the person’s dresser, wall and plug-in.
No one has been seriously hurt.
The recalled night lights come in many different designs including a pink hedgehog, a blue bird, yellow rocket, an orange dinosaur egg, a white soccer ball and a green shark.
If you have any of these, you are urged to unplug the light and return it to your local Target store for a full refund.
