MEMPHIS, Tenn. — WREG has confirmed the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation will now investigate all Memphis Police Officer involved shooting from now on.
The news came a little over a week after a 19-year-old was shot and killed by MPD Officer Connor Schilling.
According to reports, Schilling was about to arrest Darrius Stewart on two warrants when Stewart attacked.
That’s when the officer opened fire.
