MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Although several school districts in Tennessee, including Shelby County, never received their TCAP scores, the state actually had some gains on the test. The report shows that the biggest increases were in high school. In the four tests on reading/language arts, math, science and social studies, third and eighth grades saw gains in 14 of  the 24 separate tests. TCAP usually makes up about 15 percent of students’ grades, but because the tests weren’t back in time, the scores were omitted. Click here to learn more about this year’s results.
