(Memphis) The Junior League of Memphis is helping teachers with funding for classroom projects.
Applications for the Innovative Teaching Grants are due by Friday, September 14, 2012.
The grants are available each year and range from $500 to $1,000.
There is $15,000 in grant money that will be awarded.
The money has been used in the past to put on plays, for field trips and for supplies.
Teachers can receive grants more than once.
