NEW YORK — A fifth teen suspect has been arrested for the alleged rape of an 18-year-old in Brooklyn.

Investigators told the media the final suspect is 17-years-old and was arrested on Tuesday.

This news comes just hours after prosecutors said the four teens already in custody would be charged as adults, reported CBS News.

Denzel Murray, 14,  Shaquell Cooper, 15, Ethan Phillip,15, and Onandi Brown, 17, were charged with rape, sex abuse, and two counts of criminal sex act.

On Thursday, a father and his 18-year-old daughter told investigators they were drinking at a local playground when five people approached them.

The group pulled out a gun and demanded the dad leave, reported CBS New York.

As he ran for help, the suspects allegedly took turns raping the woman, and then left.

Police released surveillance video to the public after the attack hoping someone would be able to identify them.

Two of the suspects were apprehended by police, while two others were brought in by their parents.

At least two of the suspects reportedly told investigators the sex was consensual.
