(Memphis) The list is out, and it turns out the cost of living is cheap in Tennessee.

Here’s a look at the top five cheapest states to reside in:

Oklahoma takes the top spot, followed by Tennessee.

Idaho and Kentucky tied for third followed by Nebraska.

Tennessee scored so high because the average home costs just over $211,000.

That’s cheaper than a lot of states.

Tennessee also scored high because our the average monthly energy bill is just under $146.

Again, that’s a lot better than a lot of other states.
