(Nashville, TN) Tennessee taxpayers are shelling out more than $500,000 a year to keep state lawmakers offices’ in Nashville lit up 24 hours a day.

Officials say the offices in Legislative Plaza do not have light switches, but a $3 million renovation project is in the works.

It’s expected taxpayers will also have to foot the bill for the renovations.
