SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. — Thief broke into a Millington neighborhood store and got away with nearly $6,000 worth of lottery cards.

The locally owned OM Food Mart at the 6300 block of Navy Road was robbed Thursday night.

Shelby County deputies say the thief stole $100 dollars from the cash register and 18 cigarette cartons.

Deputies also say that about 31 rolls of lottery tickets were taken.

According to the report, the total property stolen was valued at more than $6,400.

Deputies reviewed footage from the store and say that two SUVs were seen outside the store early Friday morning.

One of the five suspects used a car jack to break into the front glass door, deputies say.

No other information was given. This is an ongoing investigation.
