(Memphis) Cooler weather and plenty of sunshine brought out thousands for one of the biggest weekends of the year in Midtown.

Thousands packed the Liberty Bowl for the Southern Heritage Classic and an estimated 120-thousand hit the streets for the Annual Cooper Young Festival.

Mid-southerners say this is one of the best years ever, all thanks to mother nature.
