MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Community leaders have announced they will be hosting a Town Hall Forum to meet and discuss issues important to their constituents.
The meeting will be held this Thursday, April 7 at 6 p.m. at the Hollywood Community Center.
Commissioner Melvin Burgess, Shelby County Board Chairwoman Teresa Jones, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, Executive Director Quincey Morris of the Klondike-Smokey City Community Development Corporation, and Shelby County Schools will all be in attendance.
“This event will allow us the opportunity to bring government to the people, where they live,” said Commissioner Burgess.
He went on to say the main aim of the panel is to allow everyone the opportunity to have an input when it comes to the education of our children and other issues.
