SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. — The Tennessee Department of Transportation has confirmed there was car accident on Interstate 40 eastbound near the Arkansas and Tennessee state line.
Eastbound traffic is affected with the left lane blocked.
Westbound traffic is affected with no delays.
Traffic is expected to be cleared by 6:30 p.m.
