TRUMANN, Ark. — One man is dead and another is behind bars after a reported domestic incident led to a police standoff at the Trumann Walmart.
Police Chief Chad Henson confirmed authorities received a call to the business late Sunday evening saying a man, identified as 22-year-old Gabe Urrabazo, had arrived on the scene with a gun.

By the time police arrived, he had his ex-wife, Faith Morgan, at gunpoint in the parking lot. At one point, police said Urrabazo placed the gun to her head.
As officers tried to negotiate with the suspect, another man named Robert Highfill tried to intervene police said. He was shot and killed on the scene.
An employee who couldn’t talk on camera says Highfill was a regular customer and the father of three young children.
Others who knew Highfill say they aren’t surprised by what he did.
Eventually Urrabazo let Morgan go and began to walk away. Officers continued to urge Urrabazo to drop his weapon.
After an hour and a half, the suspect allegedly turned himself in to police.
As many as 40 customers and staff were inside the Walmart at the time.
Frequent shoppers who know Morgan from the store say they hate it happened to her.
“It’s messed up what happened. It’s sad,” a shopper said.
Others in the small town say this time the violence is too close to home.
“It’s terrible. It’s terrible. It’s getting bad these days where you can hardly go anywhere,” a shopper said.
So far, police have not released a motive for the incident, but said they believe it to be an isolated domestic incident.
Urrabazo was charged with first-degree murder and held on $500,000 bond.
