(Dyersburg) A tragedy in Dyersburg after twin sisters were killed in a house fire.
It happened around one o’clock Wednesday morning.
When firefighters arrived, neighbors told them the children were trapped in a back bedroom.
Crews made their way around the house, and found the father trying to put the fire out through the window with a water hose.
Crews pulled him out and got the four-year-old sisters and their five-year-old brother.
They were all taken to the hospital, but the girls did not survive.
