LAKELAND, Tenn. — Two families were displaced Saturday night after a fire broke out in the 3000 block of Sun Road at the Fairway Village Condominiums in Lakeland, Tennessee.
Four condominiums were destroyed in the fire.
It is unclear at this time how the fire started but Shelby County Fire Spokesperson Brent Perkins says it is possible that the fireplace may have been in use at the time.
No injuries were been reported.
There were 43 firefighters, from three different fire departments, that responded to the fire Saturday evening.
The Shelby County Fire Department Officials urges that everyone practice safe and logical fire safety in their homes during the coming winter season.
