MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A shooting in Uptown injured two people Friday night.
Police responded to the April Woods Apartments in the 200 block of Chelsea near Fifth Street for a shooting call at 6:05 p.m.
One of those victims was a juvenile who was taken to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in critical condition. He told police he was shot during a robbery.
Another person, who said he was shot by an unknown person outside a nearby corner store, was taken by private vehicle to Regional One and is in non-critical condition, police said.
There was no information on the condition of the second victim.
