HENDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. — Two brothers have been arrested in connection to the Holly Bobo case.

Jeffrey Pearcy and Mark Pearcy are both charged with accessory after the fact and tampering with evidence. They are both being held without bond.

A TBI spokesperson said in a statement, “…out of respect for the judicial process, we cannot speak to the particular possible pieces of evidence in this case. We continue our work to follow the leads wherever they might lead. We won’t stop until we find a sense of justice and closure for the family and friends of Holly Bobo. ”

WTVF in Nashville reports one of the brother’s attorneys said this all has to do with video detectives claim they have which shows Holly after she was taken from her home. He says the Pearcys are innocent, the arrests were based on hearsay, and most likely, the TBI doesn’t have any evidence, especially a video.

On April 13, 2011, Holly Bobo’s brother told authorities he saw her following a man in hunting clothes into the woods near the family home in Darden.

Family were left without answers for close to three years until March when the TBI arrested Zach Adams for felony first degree and aggravated kidnapping. Weeks later, they charged his friend Jason Autry for her murder.

The TBI said Adam’s friend Shayne Austin also played a part. Investigators initially offered him immunity, but have since changed their mind claiming Austin hasn’t been truthful and forthcoming with information.

Austin is suing the state for going back on their agreement. Until that’s settled, he can’t be indicted.

The TBI is still asking anyone with potentially helpful information to call them at 1-800-TBI-FIND.

Mark Pearcy was also charged with failing to register as a sex offender and unlawful possession of a weapon.
