(Memphis)  Memphis Police are investigating a two-car crash that injured two people in Fox Meadows early Wednesday morning.

The accident happened just before 1 a.m. near the intersection of Mendenhall and Cottonwood.

One car ended up hitting a utility pole, the other crashed into a nearby house. Luckily, the damage to the building appeared to be only minor.

Two people were taken by ambulance to Baptist Memorial Hospital. There’s no word yet on the extent of their injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
