(Memphis) The University Of Memphis celebrated a new chapter in giving students a home away from home.
A groundbreaking ceremony was held for the University’s new $53 million dormitory Tuesday afternoon.
The new building will replace Richardson Towers at the corner of Patterson and Norriswood, and feature, classrooms, study areas and a room where students can hold programs.
The new dormitory is expected to be complete for the Fall 2015 semester.
