MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The University of Memphis announced Friday the spring Commencement date has been rescheduled.
It was moved to Sunday, May 10, at noon and 4:30 p.m at the FedExForum.
According to the news release, The National Basketball Association scheduled Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinal in Memphis for Saturday, May 9.
That was originally the day for the university’s commencement.
The university said students can still pick up their cap and gowns on May 7 and 8.
